Tour Plan

Days 1-3: Singita Lebombo Lodge

Depart Johannesburg on the Federal Airlines scheduled flight to Satara Airstrip where you will spend the next three nights at Singita Lebombo Lodge.

Singita Lebombo lies in the south-eastern reaches of the Kruger National Park, on South Africa’s border with Mozambique. Situated on 33,000-acres, Singita’s concession in this reserve is an isolated piece of pristine wilderness where a unique wildlife population thrives across four distinct ecological zones. This area is especially well-known for its remarkable concentration of the ‘Big 5’ and in particular, four formidable prides of lions.

Singita Lebombo Lodge Suspended high above the N’wanetsi River, the dramatic cliffside setting of Singita Lebombo Lodge’s 13 contemporary glass-walled suites ensures inimitable views of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The lodge’s cutting-edge design is cleverly integrated into its African wilderness setting, where everything defers to nature and light-filled structures welcome the breathtaking surrounds inside. Surrounded by Singita’s 33,000-acre private concession in the Park, the lodge boasts communal areas that extend seamlessly into rocky outcrops dotted with giant euphorbia trees. Features include a roof terrace, multimedia room, library, interactive kitchen, espresso bar and an all-day ‘bar-deli’.

Guests have the opportunity to embark on guided game drives led by experienced and knowledgeable guides. These drives offer the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and buffalo), as well as numerous other species of mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Guided bush walks provide a more intimate and immersive experience of the African wilderness, allowing guests to explore the smaller details of the ecosystem while accompanied by knowledgeable guides. Singita Lebombo typically offers gourmet cuisine prepared by skilled chefs, often featuring locally sourced ingredients and incorporating flavors inspired by African culinary traditions. Many luxury lodges, including Singita Lebombo, offer spa and wellness facilities where guests can indulge in a range of treatments and therapies designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests can unwind and enjoy the lodge’s pool and leisure facilities, which often include lounging areas where you can soak up the sun and take in the breathtaking views.

Days 4-7: Singita Pamushana Lodge

Depart from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to Buffalo Range International Airport, Zimbabwe and enjoy four nights at Singita Pamushana Lodge.
*Please note that this flight only departs on a Thursday

The Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is set on 115,000-acre of wilderness in the southeastern corner of Zimbabwe, bordering the Gonarezhou National Park. Malilangwe remains virtually untouched by humankind and occupies a key position in one of Africa’s largest bio-refuges. The vegetation on the ridges and rocky outcrops is characterized by flat-topped Mountain Acacia woodlands and ironwood thickets and the area is home to hundreds of baobab trees and more than 500 bird species, including many raptors.

Singita Pamushana Lodge Perched on a sandstone ridge within the 115,000-acre Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in Zimbabwe’s remote southeast, overlooking the Malilangwe Dam and expansive bushveld below, Singita Pamushana. Inspired by the heritage and history of this region, Singita Pamushana has been designed to echo the dynamism and warmth of Zimbabwe’s people and culture. This forest-like lodge with its rough-hewn architecture is inspired by the culture of the local Shangaan people who have lived in the region for thousands of years. Remote and intimate, it’s made up of only eight suites (each with its own plunge pool) that draw inspiration from the region in both its traditional thatch and stonework architecture and vibrant interiors. The reserve’s abundant wildlife and exclusivity – accessible only to Singita guests – allows for a truly one-of-a-kind wilderness experience. Guests can immerse themselves in nature on twice-daily game drives, bush walks, sundowner boat cruises, excursions to rock art sites and more.

Singita Pamushana offers exceptional wildlife safari experiences, allowing guests to explore the diverse landscapes of the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve. Guided game drives offer the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, as well as numerous bird species and other animals unique to the region.

Day 8: Farewell

Transfer to Buffalo Ridge for flight to Johannesburg, South Africa airport where our safari ends.
